Default Exhaust Options

Hey guys, just ordered a set of J's Headers for my car and deciding what to throw on the back of it. Here's a list of my options (taken from the Exhaust sticky) but what I'm after is people who have owned these exhausts to give me their opinion on noise levels. Also no drone is a high priority for me. I'm aiming for something around stock sound @ Idle and car park speeds (maybe a lil louder but not F1) but @ WOT people are allowed to know i'm coming Bascally matching the Injen CAI

if you haven't yet, i'd get a high flow cat or a test pipe first, as it is the bottle neck of the exhaust...

i have a high flow cat and a header but still a stock exhaust to keep the noise down and avoid problems with the police...

Where you going to mount the 2nd header??

Seriously though...post up in your regional s2ki forum and attend a meet. You really need to ride in a few cars with various exhausts. No one can hear through your ears but you. What consitutes "no drone" or "quiet at idle" to one person may not be the way you hear it. I've made that mistake of trusting others opinions on this subjective subject (even listened to sound clips, which are useless BTW), and regretted my purchase.

Listen before you buy. Or buy used so you won't lose much money if you don't like the sound.

Hahah I did go to a meet but tuning s2k's in NSW isn't as big as the states (or they just didn't bother to turn up) Out of the 13 or so S's that turned up only 2 or 3 had after market exhausts....

Cheers for the tips, i mite look into the high flow cat with stock exhaust.....

I'll pick the 70RS over all the exhausts listed anyday.
