Default Exhaust Recommendations

Just bought my 03 S2000 today. The car has a buddy club spec 2 exhaust and it’s ear bleedingly loud and the drone is crazy… Any recommendations on exhausts that wont break my eardrums

Don't buy an aftermarket exhaust based on anyone's description that it's "barely louder than stock" or anything else. There are enough guys around with different exhausts more than willing to let you drive their cars and hear their exhausts for real.

fact. There is lots of data on here. Plenty of people saying one exhaust is mild for them, and other say the same system is deafening. I have 6 different combinations of exhaust setups and if I get board one day and find myself pressure washing my mailbox, maybe I’ll write up a little comparison.

one of the issues is video clips often don’t do a good job of capturing audio.

Stock might be your best bet if you want quiet. Just my two cents.

Stock with sports cat converter or miltek/fujitsubo/tanabe. (carefull some tanabe are loud as well, depending on the model)
