Ok next question - where did you guys purchase your cloth tops from? There are some on Ebay which are decently priced, but with no brand name listed, it makes me nervous. There are branded "Robbins" cloth tops on various internet sites for about $610 shipped. Are there any better prices than that?

Right, but that's for vinyl. I just went ahead and bought the cloth version from them for $610.

I was a little worried when I purchased my Robbins cloth top when I've read multiple places that it's a "nightmare" to maintain. If you don't protect it then yes it will be a night mare and will attract dust and every particle in the air. I used the "ragtop cloth top conditioner" and it repels EVERYTHING including bird shit. I could spit on the crap and rub it off with a cloth and not one spot had stained the top. Repels water unlike anything I've ever seen before and the cloth top cleaner works just as great. I applied one can of the conditioner at the beginning of the spring season and it lasted until November when I stored it and still beaded the water and dirt. I plan on applying more light coats when it's taken out of storage. Anyone in the market for a top I HIGHLY suggest upgrading to cloth, makes such a subtle yet big difference

Is there any additional parts that's need to do the install ? Like rivets or anything ? Thanks.

My Robbins had just enough rivets to do the job. I would recommend ponying up the 6 bucks for a set of extras from HF.

I just had a new Robbins "cloth" top installed, its turned out really nice and dust hasn't been a problem so far here in sandy Dubai. The material is notably nicer than the original and the exterior finishing looks great too. The interior finishing around the glass screen doesn't look as good as stock, but I barely ever look back there anyway, so overall I'm very happy.

Fitting at a trim shop in Sharjah came in at $200, joy!
