Put stock cat back on to see cel still shows up.
Defouler sometimes doesnt work.

Should have spent little more money and bought berk testpipe with cel fix or thier HFC.

I bet your o2 sensor is toast. The Inside of my cat rattled loose and chopped of the head of my o2 sensor and I got the same code.

PUT THE STOCK ONE BACK ON FIRST and see if the code pops back up. If it does then your O2 sensor got toasted somehow. Did you twist the wires when installing the sensor back in? Maybe you frayed a wire or something.

you have a broken sensor or messed up the wiring somehow. The code you get when the antifoulers or built in CEL fix aren't working is p0420. An o2 sensor heater circuit CEL means something else is wrong and is not caused by the test pipe.

I have the 70mm Invidia TP with defouler and no issues at all. I (allegedly) roll into emission, stink up the bay with uncatalyzed fuel and drive away with my pass certificate.

Yes, I would guess that your O2 is bad, if you have your cat still, switch back to that, if you still have a CEL then it is your O2 sensor. If your a CEL doesn't go on with the cat on the TP/fouler is your problem.

If you need a stock cat, I have one from my MY01 w/ only 14k, that I would be willing to sell for a fair price. PM me if you're interested. Thanks.
