Default Fan Switches

Hey has anyone purchased one of these aftermarket fan switches? Eiter J's racing, Mugen, Buddy Club, or Mitsumoto. If so Could you tell the diff? I'm asking b/c I have been looking into purchasing one an I wanted to know the best choice. I was thinking with going with J's b/c they have the lowest temp rating.

Does it get very hot where you live? It really isn't necessary unless you live in a very hot region...SoCal, Fla, TX...etc.

It's not really going to give you a perf gain.

I went with a mugen from Kings but they all do about the same. The lower temp one from J's might help a little more, but the fan switch alone will not do much by itself witout the addition of a lower temp thermostat too.

The one I bought from king's was about $50 and I got it in 3 days.

I was charged $12 for shipping this dinky thing on the website, but they mailed it for a couple bucks and credited back my order the difference.

What he said. I am only adding it because I am adding forced induction. But if you race or tune with very aggressive timing, it has been recommended for that kind of thing as well.

Don't even know if I need one with an intercooled SC but I thought for $50 I would add it for a teensie bit of safety margin.
