Default PLEASE HELP OVERHEATING

i just changed the fan switch for a buddy club one, and the thermostat for the mugen one. i don't kno why know i have a lot of bars on the temperature and the coolant is steaming hot. i made sure the thermostat was installed with the pin facing up and there is no leaks at all.

possible faulty thermostat. sounds like possibly its not opening to let the coolant flow.

There is some info somewhere on the forums that mugen thermostats stick a lot. Go back to stock one for a bit and see if it helps.

Yea, one other guy on here had the same problem. I had told him that when I had my Mugen thermostat I had alot of overheating problems. It was due to the Thermo stcking in the closed position. I then put my stock thermo back on and my cooling went back to normal operating tempatures. I don't like Mugen thermostats anymore. The best cooling mods imo are radiator, hoses, and a slim fan.

Sorry to here your car isn't working properly, and I hope this helps you out!

Good luck on your build!
