Why you moved to FL? I was thinking about leaving NY.. Can't stand the commute here. Feel like a fish packed in a freaken tight can...
I'll give the two sites a lookie and see which one is good.. =)
Thanks gbmurderer...
Parents moved me down when I was a little boy Its too hot down here. Good top down weather in the winter but it gets way too hot in the summer. The commutes a little better but everything is kind of far apart from each other compared to NY. Nice drives though.

Nightcrawler, how's the gas mileage on your 4.77?
i have a supercharger also.. so when i step on it for a whole tank i can get as low as 15mpg. but if i make a conscious effort to drive conservatively and only step on it once in a while i can get ~21mpg. but keep in mind i'm running super super rich because im in desperate need of a tune...changed a lot of things since the last time i got tuned.

on the highway the 4.77 is great though. the car is always ready to pull. no downshifting really necessary, but if you want that extra kick you can. i love it. at cruising ~80mph you're at about 4700rpm (i think). i know for sure that right at 5900-6000 (right before VTEC) you're at ~96mph.

I'm considering doing this swap from 4.10 (stock) to 4.44 or possibly the 4.56 in my AP2 S2000

I'd love to increase the acceleration on my S, the only mod i will have installed by the time I install this gear set will be a Password:JDM intake.

My thing is that I do a lot of highway driving. I like noise when i'm on the throttle but when i'm just cruising I dont like the drone of a loud engine, thats why the intake was the way for me to go.

But the intake will supposedly get pretty loud at WOT, (higher RPMs) and I'm afraid that with this gear set, at the the average RPM range at about 80mph on my AP2 will be so high that the intake will cause the car to be fairly loud, thus I end up with a car i can no longer tollerate on the highway in terms of an annoying drone of loudness.

Its the reason I stayed away from the 4.77 but I figure that the 4.44 would be a good compromise. Perhaps considering too maybe the 4.56?

any comments or suggestions or opinions that can help me out?
