Replacement Filter - RP-4980

Should be what you need, however, the cost is $110 or so. I think it is part of the 'washable' series of K&N filters that allow you to use a cleaning kit from K&N, but I'm not sure.

It's reusable..

So unless yours got into a freak accident, I'd buy the cleaning kit and reuse that puppy..

or just get the one with similar specs which cost 50 dollars and doesnt have the carbon fiber top. They are all washable from what I understand.

replace with the apexi universal 80mm filter. It is better than K&N and washable no oil needed.

The K&N FIPK Filter has an inside flange diameter of 102mm (4") I don't think the 80mm Apexi would work?

The AEM Dryflow does make a filter that has the 4" inlet but its 1.5" shorter than the K&N Filter (6.5"lg)

I think i will just buy another K&N, mine is all beat up from a previous owner and im not even sure if it was even cleaned, still works okay i guess, except for all the heat soak i experience at a stop mainly because its been around 90 degrees out the past few days.

Its just an eye sore, maybe ill just wash it and get one of the filter covers instead so it isnt so ugly...

If it is just dirty, mine comes clean and looks nice again after I clean it. I usually have 2 goes with the cleaner, then 2 goes with the oil to make sure i didnt miss any spots. I do mine once a summer and it usually looks a little dirty, but it comes right out and when I am done, it looks great again. It is worth a try at least.
