Default Fire extinguisher...

Hey,

My mate recently got a raced prepped Morgan Aero 8

Just in case you don't know what it is... and basically it came with a FIA approved fire extinguisher system, pulley handles etc etc. He no longer wanted it so just gave the entire system to me Just wandering where the best place to put it and how it could be attached to the car?

Was thinking in the boot somewhere, but didn't really want to drill holes anywhere... also after the soft top was taken out due to hardtop I was maybe thinking of putting it in that recess??

Where would the best place to aim the extinguisher nozzle too? Over the manifold side or what??

It's a LifeLine zero 2000 one I think... around

I think where the convertable used to be is your best bet beside the fuel pump. Keep us posted im intrested in this.

I would aim at least one inside the cabin... Preferably aimed in you direction. Just make sure you are able to evacuate the vehicle in any situation where the system would be needed. Also think about what would be the most likely source of a fire, that would probably be you best for a second nozzle. Just be careful if it is a halon system. If not used properly halon could be just as dangerous as fire.
