the insulation over the rad is a great idea

 

I have a K&N FIPK with a coastal metals cheapo radiator cooling plate. (it was only $15) anyways, The best cooling mod I've done that works is the Hondata intake manifold gasket. The car does pull harder when warmed up and I haven't had heat soak with it since (I live in Vegas, triple digits quite often)

I bought some of that windshield reflective stuff from the dollar store today and I'm gonna spend my evening trying to do this up.





I'll try cutting that piece of foam out and see if it does anything.

 

 

I wish this was a lot cleaner looking, haha I wanna do it since it looks like it would actually work, but I would be embrassed to open my hood; have people see I have a cut up visor all over my engine . But function over form
