Default Flywheels

Yes, i understand this has been brought up many times before.

My query is just regarding the brand of the flywheel.

I understand that chromoly steel is the way to go, avoid aluminium, ap1 stock is 14lb so i'm aiming around the 9lb mark.

I'm deciding between the competition, f1 and comptech. Provided the competition according to the ebay description is 'steel', f1 and comptech are both chromoly steel and f1 is cheapest - am i running a risk of going with the f1 FW? (since its C. Steel)

The setup i'm aiming at is the ACT HD PP + lightened FW + OEM disk.

While i'm here, anyone know what i should also replace when installing 4.44 final drive? (wear and tear items in the diff)

Many thanks,

I have the F1 flywheel, its been kind to me so far (2 years or so?). For your diff, I believe you should PM puddy-dad(sp?) for some diff caps. I believe that is the weakest part of the diff, which often results in a grenaded differential when it fails...

Any concerns of a mis-shift with a light weight flywheel causing engine damage?
