Foam Insulator
Hi guys, I just tried to regrease my shifter, found here -> https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/772...se-shifter-diy
but when I tried to pull out my foam insulator, it is brittle and cracks in pieces.
It was kinda warm too. Looked like its been melting from day one.
Basically, I cant get it out in one piece and cleaning is gonna be a pain in the ...
I want to replace the foam insulator but I can't find it anymore.
Can anybody point me to the right direction?

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I was shocked that the dealership wanted $32 for a piece of foam. The cheapest I could find it online was $26 with shipping. I reluctantly ordered one and found that it made a difference in noise level and clutch buzz. It ended up being money well spent.
