Default Forbidden USA thoughts?

Hey guys, looking into FORBIDDEN USA for my exterior parts for the AP1 to come and went through their official tax season threads and saw their products in use and they looked great but didn't find any specific reviews and thoughts so i'm here to ask, what do you guys think about their products? I'm mainly interested in the rear J's style diffuser and side skirt diffusers in FRP and their Mugen style hardtop. Quality looks great and they're US made, go 'merica. Feel free to post opinions and fitment pics of their parts, much appreciated!

Honestly you have to remember that they are less expensive replica parts so it will take some adjustments to make stuff fit properly but once you get it right im sure you'll be very happy. Alberto is also great with customer service and will help you as much as possible..

Hope that helped

I'm doing great man, thanks for asking. And alright, will do...just so many pages haha And yeah when I start this build it's going to be very budgeted the first year so a real Mugen is out of the question. And thanks for the input! Does it feel a little rickety or loose at high speeds or does it feel locked in? That's my main concern.

I purchased their rear diffuser and their side diffusers in frp.

I am happy with the overall fitment and quality of the rear. It looks great and gives the car an agressive look. It is held on very well and I do not have any concerns with the product though I only tested until 65mph.

I have not installed the sides yet, but another member had them on his and he used just the tape they provided and even that has held up great. They seem to take great pride in their products and it is reflected upon greatly with their service. Alberto is always there to help.

If I do not purchase an OEM top I will surely be purchasing one of their frp mugen tops. I have read great reviews on them and have had excellent experiences with their product myself. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

If you're going to buy a hardtop don't expect perfection because you won't get perfection. I went into my hardtop knowing exactly what I was getting and have been extremely happy. Does mine rattle a little bit.... Sure. Could be the top. Culd be my old latches.
The average person won't see any flaws with my top. The fitment is great and it looks great. I can deal with a little rattling. It doesn't bother me at all.

i as well have a forbidden mugen top and i like it, and i expected the same thing as MBHs2k and knew that it would sqeak and rattle etc.
it actually came with a defect and i let alberto know and he paid for the repairs. fitment is decent, but it's a replica so of course it won't be perfect. his customer service is excellent

I have the rear diffuser in FRP. It fit great and looks great, however I bottomed out pulling out of a gas station one time and it snapped the mounting hardware on the passenger side. Regardless, it still holds up fine and is sturdy, even with the broken mount.

They're good for what they are. I have a top from Forbidden. But dont expect OEM quality/fit/finish because its just not up there. Alberto gives great customer service though, he's top notch.

I have the HT and like others are saying, it's well worth the price you pay, but at the same time you do get what you pay for. It's pretty much impossible to get it completely silent and if you do chances are you've spent more money on the right hardware and spent a shit ton of time to get it there. The way I see it basically if you're someone who doesn't expect perfection and are able to accept the flaws, the Forbidden is perfect for you. But if you want perfection, well, better start saving up.
