Forged Internals, Nitrous
I have a 2002 AP1 S with: fully forged internals, 89mm bore, and stock 11:1 compression. I'll also have an Invidia 70mm Header, test pipe, and exhaust very soon. What kit of nitrous shot do you think I can handle? I was considering a 125 shot, but I'm not sure. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

Well 1st off... Are u considering a "Wet" "Dry" or "Direct port" shot.?
I've seen members run a Direct shot of up to 125 shot on stock ap1 motors with only a fuel pump and moderate tune. There's alot of members on here on Nitrous... Search around for a bit and u will find alot of good information regarding Nitrous.

If I remember right, you can run up to a 75 shot with the stock timing and stock ECU. Anything more than that it would be way to dangerous. If I ever run nitrous, I wouldnt run over a 50 shot without an EMS and a good tune. If your wanting to do a 125 shot, look into direct port injection, and a nice EMS to tune with.
Well, I will retard the timing, and I will be running an FI/C along with a wideband o2 sensor to monitor the fuel to air ratio and keep it all safe. I was considering doing direct port, but it seems like it would be overkill when im only running a 125 shot max.

Good question, I've gotten that one alot actually. I spun a bearing back in June driving the car way too hard, since then the stroker kit has been my first investment on the project. I don't have anymore money at the moment so the rest of it is coming one step at a time... Currently I am driving my stroked s2k with stock header, exhaust, I have an AEM intake, and stock ECU running un-tuned. Sounds bad, but it is safe to drive as long as I keep it under roughly 4500 RPM's so it doesnt run too lean.
