Default Front-end protection?

about 5 yrs ago I bought a covered steel bar that mounted under the front bumper that protected the bumper from objects (like curbs) that you get too close too. I need to replace this now but can't find where it's sold. Anyone know if this still exists?

Can you post it here too? I'm curious as to what this piece is.

This one is for an AP1, I'm not sure if they make one for an AP2, or if this will fit.

APR makes something similar, but I think its CF. If you do a search in the gallery I'm sure you can find someone with one of these mounted.

hmm, that plastic lip(?) from grill-accessories is interesting.
I bet it don't show that much, but the price is very reasonable!

exactly.
Do you think that'll fit the AP2 bumper?
If so, I might give it a try.

Protect the bumper for your AP1 S2000 Model years (2000-2003)
PROTECT THE BUMPER FROM SCRATCHES, NICKS, ETC. AVAILABLE PLAIN ALUMINUM FINISH OR POWDER COATED BLACK. DOES NOT WORK WITH OEM FACTORY SPOILER

I've been using a Coastal Metals front bumper protector (padded metal) on my AP1 for the last 5 years. It has saved my bacon on several occasions
