Front shocks

I have 1 front shock blown. I know I probably should replace both bu I have a friend locally that has 1 front in good working order. Can I get away with only doing the one side?

Sure you can replace just one. However, if 1 blew, it means the other will be going soon. I would just replace both if I were you, and look into replacing the rears.

you can replace just 1 , but i also recomend replacing in pairs (2)

do both or all four. check the member classifieds or post a want to buy. stock shocks are up for sale pretty often with people going aftermarket.

if you do buy new, go with CRs or Koni's and call it an upgrade!
