True, engine temp doesnt really matter to me though. Just gave greddy a call and they said that any greddy dealer should be able to sell seprate parts from a turbo kit, just dont know exactly who is willing to do so

The plate would block the hot air from the radiator, not hinder the source of cold air.

Exactly. It was made to keep radiator heat away from the intake. Combine that with a header wrap and vented hood, I have no heatsoak issue. However, in my pursuit of a true cold air intake, I am redesigning my whole set up. Either directing cold air from the front bumper or from underneath the car.

What kind of intake do you have? It would only fit if you have my kind of setup... unless you make some modifications on it.

I have a AEM cold air intake, so I think if I cut a slot for it, it should fit
