Default Godspeed License Plate bracket

I just purchased a Godspeed license plate bracket and I have to say it feels kind of flimeys, currently everything it tightened up and there is a little give in the actual bracket, the concerned that the vibrations will eventually loosen the plate and then it will tear apart the front bumper, anybody have any experiences with this plate holder? Any issues come up?

I have no experience with this product, but in general if you are worried about nuts or bolts loosening up, apply some loctite to the threads before assembly. "Loctite blue" would probably do just fine.

That is what I was planning on doing eventually just wanted to get peoples inputs, to see if it was even necessary to go that far. I appreciate the input.

That is an idea, I am sure it will hold, just the flimsiness that close to my paint makes me nervous especially because I had the front end resprayed.

If that's what you have that's identical (cheap copy maybe?) of Rho-Plate. I have one and it works fine.

It looks like the Rho plate is exactly the same as the Godspeed one. The components looks idential. I would be curious if anybody had the opportunity to compare the 2

I can at least speak for the Rho-Plate and say I haven't had a single issue with it. Metal for the plate is decently thick and doesn't flex and the tow hook adapter is one big ol' block of aluminum.

Hello fellas. I noticed this thread and would like to help out any fellow member considering on purchasing a license plate bracket. I recently purchased a Rho-plate from (http://www.rhoplate.com/Products-Honda.html) and it came in today (3/2/14). It is extremely easy to install (took about 5 minutes). The product feels sturdy, the bolt fit perfectly to my tow hitch beam (AP1), and it looks decent.

I do have one negative review however. Me, being super meticulous, did not like how the angle of the bracket (5 degree angle). I wished there would have been no angle and the plate bracket mounted flat.

Overall, I rate the product 9/10.

I will post pictures soon!

Hope this helps anyone..
