Have you considered the T1R T182R titanium shiftknob? Weights and countersunk. Personally, I love this knob. It's probably my favourite spherical knob.

Definately decreased the "notchy" feel from the S2000.

hey does that new titanium shift knob weigh more than the stock? also how short is it compared to stock? thanks
It weighs 255 grams. The all aluminum AP1 knob weighs 150 grams. I am not sure of the weight of the later ap1 and ap2 shift knob however.
The shift knob sits about 1" lower than stock height.

IMO You definitely want a ~1lbs/480g+ knob.

I'm currently using the OEM'ish shaped Blox 490g knob, but wish I had the newer OEM styled Moddiction knob. Might actually be putting in order for that soon....

So a super lighweight knob isnt good for a S2k? When I get the chance, Ill throw my Spoon Titanium from my DD on the S2k.

Some people love the lightweight shift knobs for their S. All personal preference.
Personally I feel a huge difference when using a heavy knob compared to a lighter one. Have lots of miles on my transmission and it really helps smooth out the shifts!

Was wondering what shift nobs are good for short, clean throws!
Also, fwiw -

Nob - slang for penis
Knob - what you WANT to grab when shifting the S2000, not a nob.

Unless you really are looking for nobs for "short clean throws", then you want a different forum.

The lighter aluminum knobs will give you quicker faster throw. We do offer aluminum knobs and have sold a few. But my preference is a heavier knob, it will make getting into gear much easier...however as someone mentioned it does feel "numb" where as a lighter knob might give you that more precise and accurate raw feel.
