has anyone ever took out the resonator and just put a straight pipe there? i wish i could hear what it would sound like because i am thinking about doing this. its just an idea. i know it would backfire some which is perfectley fine with me. also would this yeild me more drone or less drone? right now i have a 70mm tp installed too. anyones though on this?

 

More drone for sure and I'm guessing it would be very raspy. Why would you want to do this, not loud enough for you?

 

i have done it on my old dual t1r sparrow exhaust it sounded sick and i just got the t1r 70 mm single exhaust im taking off the resonator next week.

 

When u take ur resonator off can you post up a clip? I use to have that exhaust and I have a video of it normally from a take off so that would be a great comparison. Was it raspy?

Also I don't think it would be raspy titanium exhausts don't have resonators. Just a different material

 

i will let u know how it sounds its just better flow and u see a differance in power high end

 

O okay cool. What is the drone like? And my biggest concern is did it become raspy?

 

no raspy sound it sound really sick once u hit vtec it kicks in really hard i did a 3 inch headerback all the way to the back tire then 70 mm piping to exhaust

 

O okay. Was there more drone? That's the only thing I'm worried about? I was just goof to remove the resonator and put a pipe there
