I have run into a little bit of a hiccup, when I try to pull down the splashguard it is still firmly attached and will not let go. I have pulled all 3 of the front clips out and the one rear along with the 4 bolts securing the splash guard but it still feels like it is attached on upper left and right hand sides. any ideas? I am driving and 08

 

take the bumper off it will be a lot easier. thats what I did
