Default Guide me valvespring experts!

Doing a blown engine rebuild and I want to know what kind of valvesprings to run. It will for be stock cams for now and possible upgrade in the very distant future. Not planning to rev to the stratosphere so the factory redline will do. I have two options from Supertech: *Dual Valvespring 92lbs @ 40.4mm or *Single Valvespring 80lbs @ 40.4mm. What do I go with? Thanks.

I'd like recommendations too.

I'm upgrading my head to better support my CTSC on a 12lb pulley. I know to go with the dual coil valvesprings, but any brand in particular?

If you run it often at high RPMs, the dual valve springs added spring force will help prevent valve float. But like everything else, there is a price to pay. If you don't run it often at high RPM (so valve float isn't an issue), then heavier springs mi9ght not be worth the added stress, friction, and wear on the valvetrain. Since both of y'all are boosted, I suspect you rev the piss out of them, and the duals are the way to go.

Supertech and Ferrea both make very good valve springs for the S2000. Others are Toda, Skunk2, and Brian Crower. I would recommend calling a couple of the manufacturers above, or one of their authorized sales reps, to talk about your intended application, just to be sure you have the real expert's advise.

I've been running the factory AP1 intake springs on both the intake and exhaust. I frequently see 9500 rpm. I do have lighter ss valves.

That said, I like the Eibach Valve Springs. They make a set of duals springs for the S2000. I just bought a set a couple weeks ago from clubrsx.
Best retail price by far: http://www.clubrsx.com/cr/EIB-20411-216.ht...ampaign=froogle

I suggest Acura locators for the dual springs.
