I just gutted my airbox..and I was wondering which filter you guys recommend I replace the Factory filter with?..

PS:now that it's cutted should I run it with close it or not?..

yeah that's what was in my mind..I just remember seeing a post of a better filter..but I suppose any filter is better than our stock one..
but damn this looks like the exact same filter my car already has..

K&N filter. Keep the box closed still. If your filter doesnt say K&N at the top of the filter then it isnt K&N. The stock filter is green.

I meant it had the same design...but I suppose a K&N one is more free flowing...
hmm never heard of a JR Filter before..
could you link me :-)....
prob around the same price right.. :-)...

free flowing means more dirty getting in and if its oil base.. ur map sensors can get clogged over time.. can affect performance in the long run

whats wrong with the stock filter..

noob inquiry here but.. if you can use a cone filter, check out Apexi / AEM / Injen dry-filters. Good filtering + no oil crud.

^pretty sure spoon is a cone filter, but that one is foam so very free flowing and suppose to be not that great and filtering
