Default Hard Top + Soft Top?

Hey guys,
I'm about to buy my first 2k, and I have my first question...

If I put the soft top down, can I drop a hard top right on top? Or would I have to remove the soft top assembly first?

Thanks! Looking forward to getting this car.

Yes with the soft top down you can have the hardtop on as well.

Yes, confirmed you can rock both as I have been doing. You need the proper connections to disable the defroster in the softop window but other than that it's fine..

Yes. As above ^

I have the soft top within the hard top itself as well.

I have still the soft top latches and the hard top latches on too. Reason being is, if I take my hard top off and I want to drive topless, and it suddenly rains - I can still get home without being wet, lol.

It is listed as the "sub-harness" in this installation manual: https://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000/s2k2top.pdf

Hooks the hardtop defroster into the circuit. If you don't have it and you press the defroster button then I guess bad things can happen as your defroster in the soft top gets hot while it's all folded up. There are two versions of this harness, my 2006 has the latter revision which is no longer being sold by Honda. Somebody posted a how to for modifying the older revision to work in the later cars.
