hardtop choice?
Can't deside which would be better? And this is my daily too. The spoon is what I want, but I don't think it would be good for everyday use? What do yal think?
I also wanted the Spoon type hardtop but realized very quickly I'd get tired of the extra work to access the trunk that I use all the time. Just not worth it.
There are some pretty good deals on authentic HT's in the Member F/S forum right now. A good looking BB Mugen FRP in Atlanta, Matte Black OEM in NJ, BB OEM in KY I believe, and some other OEM all around $3200 IIRC. Rarely see genuine Spoon or Amuse HT's for sale by members.

OEM is always the best if you can find the same color as your car or a black one and it comes with all the hardware. The hareware can cost up to $1000 if you have to buy it new so keep that in mind. If you cannot find an OEM locally then one of the reps from a reputable vendor on here and buy the OEM hardware.

Cool cool. Is the weight that much different on the oem and rep oem? I know the oem is metal, but does the rear glass make it that much heavier? And where else can you find good price hardware? Besides htguy and the marketplace?
Don't know if there's a "rep" oem hard top. There are only reps of things like the mugen, etc, which can be good. A double sided CF RSG hardtop is great, as well as forbidden ones, as long as installed properly.
Everyone is right though, nothing will come close to oem hard top finish (it's metal versus CF/fiberglass and OEM tolerances).
