Default Hardtops - OEM

What is the reasonable price range for a used but excellent condition low miles OEM hardtop?

Well depends on color too. I paid $4k for a oem paint black one in decent but not perfect condition. I think it was $500-700 too much. I think a non black one should go for $2800-$3200. Why black is more in my eyes? It's more universal and can go on any color car.

I agree. I wouldn't pay more than $3200-3500 these days but I have seen them listed at 4gs.

No such thing as a hardtop selling for under 3 k and that is only if not hardware is included. Now on the high I've seen 4K for original paint and black or white fetch the most. 3k-3.4k is the average and 3.8k-4K on the high

Another consideration is convenience to get the top. These things don't pop up every day and part of the reason I was willing to pay a premium is it was only a 40 minute drive and seller offered to help install on my S for the ride home. There was another slightly nicer one 6 hours away for the same price but time = money...

Are OEM hardtops discontinued and buying used is the only option? Or can they still be bought new from Honda?
