Have to decide if you want turbo or sc. What sort of restriction prevents you from
Turbo or sc??

Can buy ecu, injectors, clutch, gauges, exhaust etc and have all installed and tuned waiting for blower or turbo.

He is probably on his probationary license which prevents you from driving high powered vehicles until you're over 21-22

In which case I agree (with moddiction), look into intake, exhaust, suspension and then you can go for ECU, injectors, gauges etc if you want to keep going

Dont waste your money on a Intake, its going to be replaced when you get a turbo, and dont waste your money on a exhaust with dimensions for N/A setup. Start with getting a ECU, and injectors, and go get it tuned. You will pick up nice midrange and around 10 horse-15 horse. Than get yourself the clutch and start looking into gauges. gauges arent necessary until then. So yea ecu and do the research for what injectors you should pair up with.

Than do some exterior work if you want.

And if you want power, than keep your route, go turbo

wow two years, hmmm we cant really hold your hand through the entire process man theres alot out there. You just got to do your research in the Forced Induction section of the forumns and ask the same qeustions.

also get some high offset wide wheels so you can fit a lot of rubber under there. If you are going to wait two years you should set aside like half in a bank account to accrue interest until you can. Spend the rest on what you want.

Also I would recommend to go slow so you can enjoy each of your mods... You don't want to spend all your money and then be anxiously waiting until you can afford FI

Why not spend your money improving the car's weakest link: the driver? Track days, driving schools, autocross schools and events will enable you can extract the max performance from the car. When the driver is as good as the car is stock, then work on improving the car.

The best part of this approach is that it makes every car you own from now on faster...

Sounds bad, but how about just saving it to put as a downpayment on a house or payments on the car itself?

Something tells me if what the other user said was true about age, then you don't own a house and probably don't have the car paid off.
