Default Help identifying a part

I could use some help with finding a part number... On my passenger's side door I have this:

That rubber grommet circled in red is missing on the driver's side door. I found a link that shows door parts over at Honda Genuine Parts & Accessories. The drawing looks like this:

I am thinking the rubber grommet is part 28 above. What do you guys think? Am I on the right track?

thanks!

+1 for #28. Only 2 of these are on the vehicle. #19 is also labeled "Stopper, Door" but 4 of those are on the vehicle.

There's one of these on both my doors. They do not make contact with the door jam so I'd call them plugs (a grommet has a hole in the middle to allow a wire, screw, or rod to go thru). Part #28 is labeled "stopper" but it doesn't seem to stop anything on either of my doors. Nor is any function obvious to me just looking at them.

What's the empty space in the left door look like?

Thanks all, for your help. Stopped by the local Honda dealer and they did not have #28 available. They are ordering one. I'll have an update when they call for me to come by and pick it up.

It's labelled a "stopper" in the parts list but doesn't contact anything I could find. Neither roof up or down. Missing for sure. But essential?

Did that part work out for you? I’m trying to track it down myself.

^ a few months back a local owner was told the part is no longer produced by Honda, I had a spare part sitting around and gave it to him as I ordered some spares a couple years back. Hopefully they still have a spare supply in the US.

Was it part #28 that was disco’d, or a totally different part?

Think I’m gonna have to start hitting up the part out threads.

Thanks for the info.

Yes part #28, but that was here in Canada, there may still be stock floating around in the US so try your local dealer first, they are a very obscure part I would not expect many of them being sold over the years. I was able to get them 2 years ago but stock fizzled out since then in our country.
