Default HELP. Tall S2k Drivers: Seats/Seating position

Hello,

I am 6'2" and really love my S2k but it can be tiresome to drive because I cannot find a good seating position to save my life. How have you bettered your seating positions?

1. I was thinking about doing the 'lowering seat' mod in the DIY section. Thoughts?

2. What aftermarket seats do members have? Impressions for a taller driver?

3. Sponsers/Members with Seats for sale please include your thoughts and products.

Thanks,
Doc

Backyard Special lowered seat rails are the way to go. I'm 6'2" and this was definatley one of the best mods I've done to this car.

Bride VIOS III, assuming you're not bigger than a 34" waist. You can practically put that seat on the damn floor.

6'4" with Recaro SPG replica and Buddy Club rail. If you get a side mount bucket seat and rails you can literally have it on the floor. Of course there is plenty of height adjustment so you can raise it up a bit if you want.

I recently had the stock seat back in and I forgot how much it sucks. It's like I had to re-learn how to drive the car, everything just felt wrong. Ergonomically, the car seems like it was designed for someone 5'8".

The Backyard Special rail is nice, but 20mm lower wasn't going to get the job done in my case.
