I got this. I wouldn't describe it as raspy but it is loud with quite a bit of drone at certain speeds. I've had it on my car for about four years and recently developed a CEL so it may be wearing out. Installed two antifoulers and keeping fingers crossed. What MY is your S?. Sounds good around town but may get a little annoying on extended trips. This system and combo may test your tolerance for noise. Other than that, looks good and sounds good(IMO) Your call.

The term "raspy" is totally subjective. It's not the way I would describe it but perhaps others would.
