HFC Install
my install went pretty textbook.
soak the bolts with PB blaster and remember to use shock, not gentle torque to get 'em lose without stripping.
i did use a special socket head to remove the O2 sensor, but it think you could have done it with just a crescent wrench.
i am sure you won't have any trouble with getting the cat out, but i know my 05 was a lot less prone to throwing a check engine light than your 08. good luck.
this was probably the best mod i have done to my car. really feels like free hp with no downside.

Should I disconnect the battery during the install to "recalibrate" the ecu??

I didnt even think to disconnect mine when I installed my test pipe. I didn't leave the sensor hanging though. Once I took it out of the stock cat I went ahead and put it in the TP.

I can't remember weather I did or didn't. If Berk's install instructions don't mention it, I'm sure it's not important.
