Default HID kit for high beams?

Has anybody installed an Ebay HID kit as their high beams?
I was just contemplating if that setup would work as DRL's when the high beams are turned on during the day

I want my car to have white DRL's like this:

& I got the LED bulbs like these:
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/12-SMD-LED-..._h1_sku_4g.htm

but they don't seem to work for an '08 unless you re-wire everything
I am trying to figure out the best way to have white DRL's as I dont like the stock yellow/orange lights

anybody have the best solution?
thanks

Thats a good way to ruin a HiD kit, since it'll try to run at half power which is bad!!

That is why I would run it at full power which would only use 35 watts and since I would only use DRL's during the day it should not blind oncoming traffic
running at half power would cause the HID's to flicker

I have tried bulbs that have blue tint on the glass and they look no different than halogen bulbs

not sure how the s2ks are but i know for subarus, a resistor is used for their drls. some people took out the resistor and soldered in a solid wire to get full power.

Neeed better than that, they make bulbs that actually light up blue, sylvania was one that made them back when I had an xterra 7-8 years ago

You would have to get a wiring diagram. But Most cars run the lights in series for DRL's, so they get half power, then switch over to parallel when you flip on the high beams. thought about an HID kit too, but I'm just going with some different bulbs.
