high beam hid kit?
well i wanna put a 3000k hid kit in for the high beams. but im not sure how it will work with the black plastic thingy on the stock bulbs. if you or someone you know has done this any help would be great. thanks!!!!!

They sell a super bright highbeam that puts out 100w over our 55w. You'll need higher gauge wire and relays. You'll have instant on and lots of light. The bulbs are sold for "service vehicles".

Yeah I'm interested in seeing if anyone has done it either, I think it would be beneficial when driving back roads at high speed in terms of visibility.

^true. If you're going with 3000K anyway, wouldnt that be a yellow output? You would be able to just run a normal bulb and it would do the same thing. The 100W idea might be good if youre just looking for brighter high beams. Its not a good thing to keep flicking HID's on/off also, which you might need for a -flash to pass- or something.
