235hp and 5 lbs of boost. I have the 7 lb pulley on it, so something's not right. The baseline dyno pre-install of the s/c was only 170 and another friend with an NA S2000 also w/ HKS dynoed at 169, so I believe that the exhaust might be the issue. That being the case, that's why I'm here rather than the FI forum to ask if anyone's dynoed NA with and without the HKS to eliminate that as a factor if it really isn't the problem. With the s/c on now, I have too many potential variables to place blame on the HKS at the moment.

I just had a huge discussion about the hks vs. greddy, and I thought it was extremely strange no one post ANY dyno sheets on the hks.
If you think about it most of your HP freaks will do a base dyno, and a final dyno after the mods are installed. You can find this for almost every performance part in the market. Yet no one will post a dyno proving either it does or does not loose power.

I ran into this with the X-brace and several other things, like JDM brakes. Everyone has an unsubstantiated opinion, and nobody will try to test. The changeover takes about 15 minutes, big deal.
I've used HKS on turbo cars and really liked the design. I can't imagine for the S it makes any real power, but I find it hard to believe it is such a power killler.

I am pushing about 350whp now but I'm running more boost now. I have a dyno sheet but my membership expired so I can't post pics. I made 291whp on the stock Comptech kit with the HKS exhaust. It's probably a bit restrictive now that I'm running a 3.6" pulley (~9psi or so), but it's relatively quiet, which is nice.

The variability of dyno data often exceeds the modest gains from most exhaust mods, maybe that explains it.
I have no proof but all the talk was enough to push me in the opposite direction. It's really on preference anyways. HKS does sound INCREDIBLE!
