What's supposed to be a good wheel gap? Is everyone lowering it more with the preload, because the rear only went down 1 full turn before it wouldn't go any lower. That's putting me at a little less than a two fingers gap between tire/fender on all four tires.

I've had the chance to use a set of Hypermax III coilovers in my friends STI and they were wonderful on the track. And on the street is was rather smooth ride...I'm planning to pick up a set when it's time...

I heard these blow especially easy on imperfect roads. Is that true?

I also think that my agressive street setup (non-stag, R1R, wing) was more well matched when combined with the HKS. The results could have been different if a stock AP2 was used in the test.
what sway bars were used in the test? stock ap1 bar?

Are the adjustments rebound only or does it adjust rebound/bound together? I read through the whole thread and no one has confirmed...

single adjustment shocks couple the rebound and compression adjustments. they are not separately adjustable but they are adjustable in a coupled adjustment.

You can get shocks that are single adjustable that only adjust rebound and have a constant bound rate. Not all of them adjust both together...
