big step down in comfort. la freeways are really bad, and the pss9's at 4/4 were not bad, little rough. hks at 20/20 are much stiffer on big bumps, but still smooth on sorta smooth roads. but when i say much stiffer, my gf can't even hold two cups of coffee and i have to drive 55 mph lol. havent tried full soft yet, but honestly i like it stiffer, my gf doesnt

if you have smooth roads where you are, its really quite good.

whoa!--you put the hks at 20/20 for daily driving!? i usually bump it up to around there for the track, but before i head home, i turn mine down to 10/5. i tried driving home on ~20 before and yeah, it was pretty crazy. the car was bouncing over some bigger bumps.

i think he was referring to 20/20 as in 10 away from full soft and 20 away from full stiff

i keep mine in 20/20 daily driving also. the only times i have problems are when i have to drive in san francisco
yeah what he said sorry lol

i got used to 1 being stiffest since thats how it was on the pss9's

i assumed 1 being stiffest also since it's clockwise... plus that's how the manual specified it

How much lower does the car sit at the HKS recommended height? And would they be too rough for the SoCal canyons? (Malibu/GMR/Angeles Crest)

Nice wheels and tires, tek. Doesn't look too low, but do you happen to know how much lower it really sits? It looks like maybe 2cm/~1 inch? My concern are the canyon roads I drive on are not always smooth and silky. On some sections I do scrape the plastic guard that's in front of the front wheels (currently stock ride height).
