Default Hks super sound master

I have been debating back and forth on what exhaust I should put on my car. After 8 years I think it's time to have one and this exhaust caught my attention from all that I've heard. Does anyone on the board have this exhaust and how do you like it? It's it police friendly and is it true no drone?

I put this on with the HKS header and berk test pipe... car is INSANE.... there is ZERO drone, but once into vtec it sounds like a race car. I can't imagine a better sounding exhaust setup

you wouldn't happen to have any clips of this would you? Sounds like I may have to look into a test pipe and headers after I pick the exhaust

I had a clip of my setup in the main thread... just a reving one with stock header and cat in place. I doubt the header did much for the tone/volume, but the test pipe woke it up a bit.

the exhaust is expensive, but it is really nice and sounds really good.

Zero drone. None. I can't comment on the sound when NA, but it's perfect with a supercharger.

HKS japan designed this exhaust around their supercharger kit. no drone. quiet when normal driving but once you punch it the exhaust note sounds amazing

Not sure who the person is on this site with the yellow S but his youtube clip with the SSM sold me into getting one. Worth every penny but the only drawback like all who have this exhaust is that its aggressively quiet (needs the sound gain turned up) even after break-in. On that note I've almost saved up for a supercharger kit (S.O.S Stage2) that I'm going to pair with it. Lets see if that'll raise the gains hahaha! Will be making a before and after sound clip but I definitely will need help knowing how to upload anything since I'm extremely new to this site. Also has anyone ever done a before and after on heat taping the intake (N/A) using an OBD2 scanner to read the intake temperature?

It's super loud with a supercharger. Have no fear.
