Is hondata flashpro worth it?

Totally transformed the drivability of the car for me. Having more midrange makes it a lot more fun in day to day traffic. It also resolved some throttle mapping qualms I had with the DBW.

They make K-Pro. It's not cheap as you have to swap over the valve cover and a number of sensors as well. IMO, not worth it for bolt-ons, but a great option if you're planning to get wild with it.
After it's all said and done, AEM is cheaper, but you won't pass emissions with it if your state cares about that sort of thing.

I would've remembered if it was AEM; as that's one of the most popular stand-alones. All I remembered, was that it was kind-of an obscure stand-alone (edit: I see it was just a piggyback ecu unit)...
Found out it was the Karcepts tune + Greddy E-Manage bundle... as spaded.racer has posted.

Anyone with an 06+ who enjoys driving their car is doing themselves a disservice by not putting a test pipe / HFC on their car and tuning with a flashpro. Would recommend Gernby e-tune. He's the only tuner I've worked with that knows how to tune part throttle vtec. Other tuners just make it an on/off switch with full throttle. The driveability of the car significantly improves, there is more usable power under the curve, especially in the mid range, and the powerband is extended (usually from about 4k-8500) and shifting at redline doesn't land you out of vtec anymore.
If you're gonna do anything, flashpro and cat removal is the way to go (for performance)

Question about the Flashpro. Can you make manual adjustments to the Hondata tuned profile that comes on the device (the old reflash profile I believe it is)? Can I leave everything as they have it except change the redline down to 8400RPM or do I need to recreate an entire copy of the profile and alter it that way? I know people think 8500 is “safe” I’d feel more safe with it at 8400 or even back to its stock settings but I want everything else as they have it till I get it tuned later with a HFC and intake installed.
