Hondata intake gasket
I finished the gasket install this weekend and just wanted so share some measurements I made.
This thing seems to do a really good job, it does cut the coolant flow through the throttle body and IACV though which probably helps the numbers a lot.
There is a strip of black electrical tape on top of the manifold to get an accurate reading.
Before gasket, ~55C / 131F
After, ~34C / 93F

Did you run the car with the hood closed in normal street driving prior to measuring temps ?. In the past I found that the gasket worked well with the hood open and on a dyno, but once you closed the hood and drove around the temps weren't much different.

On both occasions I let it idle for ~12min with hood closed to let it reach operating temps.
I forgot to ad I have also heat wrapped the exhaust manifold which probably also helps.
Tried to get comparison before and after on that as well but the emissivity on the different materials made the temperature results weird.

awesome research. but im just very skeptical to run this after all the woes people have experienced with leaking coolant.
