Hondata Reflash for 05

Does it not exist?
all they have on Hondata.com for 00-05 is the K-Pro and Heatshield

but you do have the option of kpro if you want something programable.

Only the +06 cars have re-flashable ECUs.

The K-Pro on the 00-05 cars requires a new valve cover, cam sensors and trigger wheels, crank sensor and trigger wheel. You need to remove the oil pan and timing chain cover for this labor intensive install along with the camshafts.

A plug and play alternative on the 00-05 cars is the AEM EMS.

what about using a VAFC to change the VTEC crossover?

VAFC will be fine if you just have simple bolt ons, you can drop vtec engagement and lean the car out a little bit. gains from 5-10 up top and if you drop your vtec mid range can see quite an increase.

will lowering the VTEC crossover with the VAFC be as reliable and as good as the reflash?
i have heard people say that the VTEC changeover function on a VAFC isn't worth squat.
