Default how loud will a berk HFC make my j's 60rs single Ti?

Hi guys,

Im after any input from anyone that is running a j's racing 60rs single titanium exhaust with a matching berk HFC. Im currently running my OEM cat, and love how quite the exhaust is, however i do want to maximise my gains. The legal noise limit where i live is 90dB. I know currently it is definitely legal. So my question is how much louder will the HFC make the exhaust? will it make it louder than 90dB? I dont need exact numbers or anything i just need thoughts and estimates. I went from a q300 w/HFC to a j's 60rs so the j's definitely sounds extremely quite to me.

thanks in advance

I can't comment on the hfc, but I used to run a j's 60rs with their 60mm test pipe. It was quite outside of vtec, but got pretty loud above 5k. 90db is pretty low with any exhaust at the upper end of the rpm range. A hfc will be a little quiter than a test pipe. If you only need it to be below 90db during normal driving, I would say you should be okay with a hfc.

Did you end up getting a HFC with your J's? How does it sound?

Why not just add a resonator to it if you want to decrease how loud your exhaust is?
