10-15k maybe more depending on how much it is built, the 50/50 weight distribution and you might have to sell your soul to the devil. LOL For that kind of cash you could put down some serious numbers with the f20.

I believe it was close to 8k when I read an article about it... but youd be a ****ing retard to put a 2jz in an S2000.

Lets be realistic. an F20 on 15lbs makes more power than a 2jz on 15lbs without a whole lota work done to either of em.

^on the contrary the 2jz will be much more reliable, and can handle much higher hp than the f20.

From what I read an inline pro setup with 500whp and a diff to accompany it is easily north of $10k. So you would probably save at least a few thousand if you stayed with the f20c.

reliability is also a factor though.. believe me iam not for the swap in anyway, however i used to be a supra man. the 2jz is capable of almost that much hp with stock internals. that engine is just capable of too much, and connot be compared to the f20 when it comes to pure power/tq.

if you want a 2jz and serious power just get an MK4 and be done with it. dont ruin an S2000 over torque numbers.

S's can be plenty fast and reliable with the right parts, build and tune.

for the same money you can make a bulletproof f20 motor on boost and not loose the essence of the car in the process

Oh man, I have seen that picture so many times (and laugh every time), but had never noticed the hat until you pointed it out
