Default How much power?

I was just wondering what dyno numbers people are getting with a similar setup like mine. When I was stock with a K&N drop in filter, I dyno'd at 198.8whp and 131tq on a mustang dyno.

Right now, I have a 68mm skunk2 throttle body, invidia 63mm test pipe, and the K&N drop in air filter. I tried searching and almost nobody has an aftermarket throttle body so I couldn't really find a comparison. With the tp and tb, I definately felt a difference mainly at mid revs and high revs where it feels like it has a decent amount more power.

How much would you guess I'm putting to the wheels right now? If I get a Apexi VAFC, what numbers would you think I'd be putting down with a good tune?

Thanks

Assuming all mods are tested on the same dyno with the same conditions and correction factor: You are probably putting down 203-204whp. With the VAFC well tuned, you should be putting down 210-212whp.

I would say no higher than 210 with a good tuner. Make sure to use the same dyno so you can get an accurate before and after. I have the berk test pipe and header and im at 212whp tuned with a vafc2. Early ap1s gain alot with a good tune.

Cool, thanks for the replies. I've got a '00 so I was hoping for some decent gains with a tune. I was thinking the throttle body would help out for at least 3-4 whp on its own, but maybe it doesn't for the s2000.

Yeah throttle body wont do much if you havent ported out the intake manifold as well, no matter how big the throttle body is the intake manifold inline is still just as small. Test pipe is definately a good mod though. Lots of things dont do much on the s2k. But youve got a healthy car considering most mustang dynos read low. Get a 70mm exhaust and youll also see some nice gains.
