Wow, I never knew you had a CF hood. And I knew you had decals, but so many different schemes! You'd think they were all different cars.

Hmmm...now that I look at the photos I posted, I guess I did know you had a CF hood, but didn't remember it. I'm getting old...

Nice! I can put on a blond wig and try the same test but I don't want anyone getting sick.

Haha yeah, that's something that wouldn't be a good marketing image, lol. Great product though!

The Italia’s body actively works to help you go faster, too. Those big gaping holes on either side of the headlights allow air to travel through the car, reducing lift on the front end and keeping the tires planted to the road. Go faster and the whisker-like spoilers in the nose flex downward to deflect the atmosphere underneath the car, along its smooth underbelly and through the planks of the rear diffuser, simultaneously lowering drag and increasing downforce. A process so effective it was banned in Formula One racing.

SO making a splitter that deflects under increasing load (due to speed) to increase down force as speed increases is illegal in F1

They have the same type of rules about ride height. Some of the teams were suspected of cheating by using a passive ride height system that would ratchet the cars down as they went on track.

F1 guys are so damn smart and have so much money they can find a way to make a flimsy splitter actually be an advantage! So my cardboard splitter may have been the best splitter EVER! haha
