Default Hytech header on the way......I hope

Hey there guys, so I just started some buying parts and to get it out of the way early I placed order on a Hytech race header through GTMotoring to match up with an HKS 75mm single. Should be pretty bitchin. Its been a month and John at Hytech says another 3 weeks....bull**** or not? Anyone else waiting on a Hytech header with me or have any experience with typical wait time for this header?

Thanks
Jeff

Ya I know, I'm just hoping to see some good gains on a stock ecu at the end of the day. Don't wanna go ems just for some NA gains

Last I heard the Hytech header is best matched with some sort of EMS, in order to maximize the gains.

right well any system will always prove more effective with a tune but its a matter of lack of cash on my part to go get an EMS, pay dyno fees, and a tuner on top of everything else. Too bad we can't all have unlimited money ha. Plus a standalone to tune NA is a bit excessive in my case with my parts, I'm just hopin for some good gains from the header even on the stock ecu.

i agree it should be pretty bitchin, lol, havn't heard someone say that for awhile.

I wouldn't stress to much Gtmotoring is a good sponsor, it sucks that you have to wait that long but it'll definately be worth it

Unless I'm thinking of a different header, I wouldn't expect a lot of gain by just bolting this on. Gains tuned would be huge though. Unlike say the FF header which shows a decent bolt on gain, but that's pretty much what you get w/ or w/o tuning.

Nonetheless the Hytech is an absolutely amazing piece, and I don't mean to disappoint you. Congrats on the purchase, I just put on my comptech header and I can tell you that a small part of me is jealous .
