Improved knock sensor

There is an oem component that screws into the location perfectly, plugs right in to the wiring harness connector, and was designed specifically for this engine by engineers with Formula 1 backgrounds.
And you want to use something else that is generic instead? That has to be adapted to fit, and spliced in to the wiring. You somehow think this would be a better solution?

Any reported issues with Knock sensor signal using non OEM forged pistons as they are known to have some noise on start up ?
