Improved knock sensor

Default Improved knock sensor

Did anybody install one of this in our car?

since de oem has another bolt design... what type of bolt did you use?

There is an oem component that screws into the location perfectly, plugs right in to the wiring harness connector, and was designed specifically for this engine by engineers with Formula 1 backgrounds.

And you want to use something else that is generic instead? That has to be adapted to fit, and spliced in to the wiring. You somehow think this would be a better solution?

Well... the oem one gets a lot of noise from the engine. This one from bosch has a better noise filtering and a good mod if you are running a standalone.

God forbid someone in the last 2 decades created a better knock sensor.

If its one that fits the block and the wiring harness, great! If it has to be cobbled together, no thanks, not for me...

Any reported issues with Knock sensor signal using non OEM forged pistons as they are known to have some noise on start up ?
