to be quite honest the best bang for buck modification will be 4.57 or 4.44 gears. Which are installed in the rear diff. They will cost about 1100 or so, best performance modification under 4,000 dollars.

get a PuddyMod one. not only do you have gears but youll have a stronger diff.

I'd buy a 3" single exhaust. Gears are great unless you drive on the street like most people.

Get him some track time. It is, once again, the most overlooked mod that will definitely provide improvements that can be taken from one car to the next.

make the car lighter! take out spare tire, remove soft top motor and get him a mugen cf hardtop, lightweight 70-75mm single exhaust. then get lighter rims!! then get a turbo or supercharger and u're set lol.
