the EM isnt TOO deep. Its really just right, it sounds mean, much more so than the greddy se. But both are good exhausts, dont get me wrong.
The EM is more agressive though, and livable as a DD, I DD mine 35+ miles a day, sometimes more.
I took it on an 800 mile trip the day after install, with 5-6hr on the road time per day for 2 days. The exhaust was loud when it was breaking in, but by the time i got home it had changed tone a lot, to a much deeper more subtle sound. In vtec its not subtle tho, its just angry sounding.
O yeah and i spent a lot of the trip behind another S with the daul invidia v3 (the loud one). And his exhaust with silencers in was about as loud as mine, if not louder. Of course mine didnt make that raspy noise tho.

Check out all my posts/reviews/pics of the Greddy system. I traded in my T1R for the Greddy, and absolutely no regrets...the Greddy is amazing.

Looks, sound, performance, and quality. Yes the Greddy is not a full 70mm, but in all reality, it is only giving up a couple HP, and lets face it, in an S2000, your not going to gain that much anyway with bolt ons. The Greddy sounds amazing, and the quality is amazing. I had the T1R in my possession for 2 days, and then the Greddy immediately after, and the T1R left a lot to be desired imo as far as quality.

I have a 6 hour drive tomorrow, so I'll be able to give a better verdict on what I think of the t1r. Honestly when I hit higher RPM's, its just slightly louder than the engine (the engine in the s2k is loud!) and I'm glad it doesnt get raspy and sound like a POS riced out car. I'll get a friend to do a few drivebys and ill catch it on video tomorrow.

i got my T1R 70EM with burnt tips a couple weeks back. got it installed, and it doesnt fit exactly perfect. not sure why yet. i need to have it adjusted i think. its almost as if it is sitting slightly crooked underneath the car. other than that, it has been the absolute perfect exhaust IMO. i am running it with a megan header, and invidia testpipe. it is very subtle and quiet when you need it to be, but when you WOT, watch out! very very very angry sounding when vtec kicks. very little drone. i have even noticed a little mid gains. NO REGRETS for me! :-)
i took it to a local car meet last night and was getting mad props on it left and right.
SEBRINGER, wanna see one in person let me know. im in atlanta.

Old topic, however I said I was gonna make a video and I finally got around to it.

I do have some fitment issues... the right side of the exhaust seems to be closer to the bumper, and lower than the left side. Nothing rubs, but the hangers seem to be so close to the frame that they are pushing the rubber hangers against the frame of the car.
Not sure how to go about adjusting this, or if its even worth the effort. Its not that noticeable anyway.
