Thumbs down Installing FULL autometer Gauge Pillar

Hey the Autometer directions say to put the gauge pillar directly over the OEM one, does this sound right? It looks like a replacement piece so I "think" I am supposed to remove the OEM one, anybody have any idea?

i have same one it fits with or without the stock pillar there but if u use it without the stock pillar u need to screw the top left part in which can be hidden by the rubber garment that goes up the side

yep...I used to have the Autometer one...goes on top of the OEM one...my opinion is that it needs more than the 1 or 2 push tabs that the pillar comes with...you'll also need to cut out the vent hole but that's a piece of cake with a dremel with cutting wheel attachment

I have the autometer one. I have it over the oem piece. I have heard it fits without it as well but never got around to trying that out.
