Default Installing Intake tomorrow!

Hey, I just received my k&n FIPK and am going to install it 2mrw, im really not too mechanically inclined, it's probably going to be easy, but is there anything i should make sure of before I do it, and is there anyway i could really mess up?

It's all pretty strait forward. Just secure the vacuum lines good so they arent hanging there, thats about the only advice I can think of right now.

First mod i did to mine. Wasnt hard just time consuming. I remember there was a metal part in one of the lines somewhere, removing that was the hardest part.

the hardest part was taking off the metal clamps off the tubes.. if you pull it out wrong it's going to stretch the tubes. Good luck

I heard it's best to clean the throttle body(wipe it with a clean cloth) before connecting the tube.

This was my first mod to my AP1 as well. It's pritty straight forward but I did have a heck of a time with the mount for the heat shield, by the radiator; it was tricky to get to.

Keep track of all the OEM parts. Mark what goes where for that day you go back to stock when trading up.

Yeah the one screw is a real pain to tighten on!
